Our Commitment

We value collaboration, inclusion, and the belief that art belongs to everyone. By working together, we foster an environment where creativity thrives, artists feel supported, and the community benefits from shared cultural growth.

We champion creativity, encourage connection, and strive to make art a bridge that unites people. Together, we create more than art—we build community.

About Eve Archer

Eve Archer has left a resounding impact on the Bald Eagle Art League as her legacy lives on through the organization. She was a charter member of the league and also now has an award in her name. The award recognizes her memory and the artist and community leader she was in Williamsport. Every year her award is given to the artist most liked by attendees at the regular shows hosted by the Bald Eagle Art League.

Eve was born in October of 1926 and passed away in July of 2016. She was a Williamsport native and graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Art Education. Her love and devotion to Williamsport brought her back to the area, where she was an art teacher for 25 years at Williamsport Area School District. Additionally, she was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church as well as a chairman and president of Friends of the J.V.B Library and president of the Williamsport Women's club. Her philanthropic contributions did not stop there, as she was also involved with over ten other additional organizations in Williamsport.

Eve's legacy still inspires us to this day, and we are reminded constantly of her willingness to give back to the community, her passion for fostering change, her love for teaching, and her creative mind. We continue to honor her every year with our Eve Archer award and we hope it encourages others to follow in her footsteps as well. We continue to emphasize the importance of the arts and our community at Bald Eagle Art League, just like Eve wanted.
